During this session, you will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns, share your history, and outline your expectations for the therapeutic journey ahead. This collaborative process helps create a personalized plan tailored to support your well-being and growth.

Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy offers a safe and confidential space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. We work collaboratively with you to address personal challenges and promote emotional well-being. Together, you will develop strategies to navigate life’s difficulties and enhance your overall mental health.

As a registered social worker with a Master of Social Work from Windsor University and over seven years of experience in mental health counselling, I bring a deep understanding of the complexities involved in emotional well-being and personal growth. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care that addresses each individual’s unique needs.

With specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed practices, I have supported clients through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. My work is rooted in the belief that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I adapt evidence-based methods to suit each client’s journey. Whether someone is grappling with life transitions or dealing with the long-term impacts of trauma, my goal is to help them build resilience and find their path to recovery.

I have extensive experience working with diverse populations, particularly Indigenous communities, and addressing the effects of colonization, residential school trauma, and intergenerational harm. This has given me a unique insight into the role of culture and history in mental health, allowing me to provide sensitive and respectful care of each individual’s background.

In addition to my clinical work, I have led community-based mental health programs, delivered suicide prevention workshops, and engaged in public education on addiction recovery. These experiences have sharpened my ability to connect with people from all walks of life and ensure that everyone I work with feels heard, valued, and supported.

At the heart of my practice is a commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment where clients can explore their challenges without judgment. I believe in each person’s strength and resilience and am passionate about helping them harness that power to transform their lives.
